When Is Trading Coming? Tea!

The mention of trading in Royale High had first come up when the winter update was out. Now it's summer, and Royales are impatient for this update to come out. Everyone wants to be able to get stuff they don't have and exchange things for items they don't want! But when is trading coming out? Will we be able to trade halos? Will you be able to gift items for free? Get all the tea!

Around when the 'Pre-Summer' update came out, Barbie tweeted that trading had actually been finished a while ago, and the only thing that wasn't finished was the server-backbends. Many glitch videos on Youtube say that when they went to the realm Enchantix High and bought an item, it would give them the item, but not take their diamonds, or vice versa. The idea of the server-backbend tests and changes were to make sure that data would save 100% of the time instead of 99% of the time. That's why the Enchantix High and other 'free item' glitches didn't always work.

What can you even trade?

Everyone's big question: can you trade halos? The answer is: probably, but it is not certain. When trading first came out, it was taken down very quickly because of all the bugs and glitches. The Royale High team didn't want anyone to lose any important items. How would you feel if you lost your halo or your elegant parasol? But in the short release of trading, many people traded halos. There has been to confirmation by Barbie or any other member of the Royale High team, but we think trading halos will be allowed like the first time. The only items we are sure that are not up for trade are the new wheel items (Lovely Tiara, Vintage Glasses, Peg Leg, etc.). Barbie stated that these new wheel accessories were account-binded (non-tradable) but the old wheel items (Crowned Royalty, Flip Hat, Mystical Ears, etc) were tradable.

Another question: can we gift items and/or diamonds? The answer is the same as the answer about trading halos: probably, but it is not certain. During the mini-release of trading, and in the trade-testing-beta server, you were able to give items and diamond without the other person giving anything. The only thing you had to do was accept the trade and accept the warning about the other person not giving anything, and about scammers. Like with halos, we believe that we will be able to gift items to others in Royale High again.
